It's been a while since I blogged...I've been relaxing a little over the winter, I tend to shoot a few less weddings..it's sometimes nice to just have a little time to spend with the family and re-charge the batteries. It also gives me time to take on a few personal projects too. For a while now I've been longing to shoot a wedding abroad so when the opportunity came up for me to second shoot for the lovely Claire Penn Photography at a wedding in France...well I jumped at the chance! The venue was a beautiful Vineyard Chateau on the banks of the river Dordogne...it was simply breathtaking. There is something very special about getting married in France, the light is somehow softer and combined with the light coloured stonework of the buildings it gives the images a wonderful look.  I really would love to photograph another wedding in France...hopefully it won't be too long. For now though here are my favourite images from Amy & Nic's day....I hope you love them as much as I do.
